The Epson EcoTank L3110 Ink Pump Assembly (OEM Part Number: 1756593, often labeled as the CG86 Capping Station) is the critical mechanical core responsible for managing the suction, cleaning, and maintenance of your printer's ink system.Driven by the machine's primary motor, this modular assembly features an airtight rubber capping pad that physically seals the Micro Piezo printhead when the printer is idle to keep moisture locked in and prevent dust or dried ink from clogging the microscopic nozzles. During automated "Head Cleaning" software routines, the unit activates an internal peristaltic vacuum pump that generates aggressive negative pressure, pulling stale ink and trapped air bubbles straight out of the printhead, while an integrated rubber wiper blade physically scrapes away surface debris.
