Description
The Canon PIXMA iP3680 Refill System is a bulk-ink management solution designed to drastically reduce printing costs for high-volume inkjet users. Because the iP3680 is a photo inkjet printer, this system replaces expensive single-use cartridges with either an external Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) or heavy-duty refillable tanks, rather than using a laser copier drum. The setup utilizes specialized PGI-820 and CLI-821 cartridge shells equipped with Auto-Reset Chips (ARC) that automatically trick the printer into reading the ink levels as completely full after every top-off. By allowing users to manually inject premium bulk pigment black and dye-based color inks directly into the reservoirs via simple syringes or gravity-fed silicone tubes, it delivers a massive yield boost of over 3,000 pages per fill while completely eliminating plastic cartridge waste.
