Description

The MikroTik hAP ax lite (L41G-2axD) is a compact and efficient access-point/router designed for home and small-office use where you want Wi-Fi 6 benefits and solid wired connectivity without breaking the bank. While it markets Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, note that it is focused on the 2.4 GHz band only, so dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) wireless is not supported. You still get four Gigabit LAN ports to connect wired devices like PCs, NAS or switches, making it a good fit for mixed wired and wireless setups. The device is powered via USB-C (5 V) and consumes only around 8 W, making it energy-efficient. Running RouterOS v7 with License Level 4 gives you full router and AP features: firewall, VPN, VLANs, hot-spot, dynamic routing and more. Although it’s marketed as Wi-Fi 6, because it’s 2.4 GHz only you’ll benefit most in environments where the 2.4 GHz band is not overcrowded and you have multiple older devices. If you have many devices or use 5 GHz heavily, you may want to consider a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 model instead.
