Description
The Fuser Fixing Film for HP LaserJet printers is a highly heat-conductive, cylindrical sleeve designed to facilitate the permanent bonding of toner powder onto paper. Positioned directly over the printer's internal ceramic heating element, this film acts as a high-temperature, non-stick thermal interface. It allows temperatures up to 200°C to pass through instantly to melt the plastic resins within the toner, while simultaneously preventing the liquefied powder from sticking to the heater or wrapping around the assembly. Constructed from a high-tensile polyimide polymer base and coated with a premium layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Teflon, it ensures smooth, frictionless paper passage through the high-pressure fuser zone.
Over thousands of cycles, continuous contact with abrasive paper edges, paper dust, or accidental foreign objects like staples can score, thin out, or tear the sleeve.
