Description
The Epson FA11010 / FA11000 New Original Print Head is the core, high-precision imaging component designed for Epson’s specialized M-Series (EcoTank / Integrated Ink Tank) monochrome inkjet printers. Unlike standard thermal inkjet print heads that use heat to boil and boil out ink drops, this original Epson component utilizes advanced Micro Piezo™ technology. It relies on built-in piezoelectric crystals that flex mechanically when a precise electrical pulse is applied, forcing tiny, uniform droplets of ink through micro-nozzles without altering the physical properties of the ink itself.
Because the M-Series (M100, M105, M200, M205) is engineered to compete directly with monochrome laser printers in office environments, this print head is specifically optimized to work with high-density pigment-based black inks. Pigment inks contain solid particles that do not dissolve like dye inks, which provides sharp text, smudge resistance, and water resistance, but places a higher mechanical demand on the print head.
